In Every Language CEO Terena Bell has been requested to speak at the 18th Annual Internationalisation and Localisation Conference (LRC X8) in Limerick, Ireland. Organized by the Localisation Research Centre (LRC), the conference will take place over three days from 23-25 September 2013 at the Carlton Castletroy Park Hotel. Jack Shulman, Global Director of Information Design and Development for Sony Computer Entertainment, is the keynote speaker. Other speakers include representatives from Symantec, Vistaprint, and the Joint National Committee for Languages, among others.
The conference theme is New Horizons and the event will look at how commercial, government, educational, and civil society sectors all require access to language services like translation and localization. LRC X8, for the first time, will bring these four sectors together, out of their silos, opening up new horizons. Bell will speak Tuesday afternoon on the civil society track, which examines who truly pays the price for free translation.
