Translation Services

What languages do you do? back to top
In Every Language provides translating and interpreting services in nearly 70 languages worldwide, including Spanish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese (Brazilian & European), Russian, Vietnamese, Korean, and Polish. A full list of languages is available by clicking here.

How do I know you're qualified for the job? back to top
In Every Language uses translators who are not only experts in language, but in the translation's subject matter as well.  For engineering documents, for example, we use translators who have worked as or been schooled as engineers.  Many of our native-language translators are members of the American Translators' Association or similar organizations in their countries.  As a company, In Every Language is a member of the Association of Language Companies. We are the ONLY member in the State of Kentucky and the ONLY member in the American Mid-South.

Who have you translated for in the past? back to top
In Every Language's translation clients range from small to big business.  We're just as proud to have names like ProActive Consulting, Goldmark Consultants, Stonestreet One on our list as we are names like Dow Corning, Papa John's International, Humana.  We've also performed translation for non-profit associations such as Sister Cities of Louisville and the Washington, DC Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial Project.

To join our list of clients, please contact CEO Terena Bell or the Sales department today.

When will my translation be done? back to top
Taking your preferred deadline into account, In Every Language bases translation turn-around time on the length of your document, the languages we're working with, file format, and subject matter. Some projects can be returned the same day, while others may take several weeks.  For a more precise project timeline, please CEO Terena Bell or Carol Reeves.

How can I get something translated? back to top
Just call our office at (502) 213-0317 or email a member of our staff. Terena Bell , Carol Reeves, or the Sales Department will be happy to walk you through the process.

Interpreting Services

Which languages do you do? back to top
For interpreters, languages offered vary by the city where an interpreter is needed.  Around the world, In Every Language currently provides translating and interpreting services in nearly 70 languages, including Spanish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese (Brazilian & European), Russian, Vietnamese, Korean, and Polish. A full list of languages is available by clicking here. Please email CEO Terena Bell to find out if a specific language is available in your area.

How do you screen your interpreters? back to top In Every Language carefully screens each application we receive, keeping less than half, as our quality standards are very high.  Our interpreters are native speakers of one language and have in-country experience with the other.  Each and every interpreter In Every Language uses, be it medical interpreting or not, is required to abide by the National Council on Interpreting in Health Care Code of Ethics .  In Every Language is the ONLY language service provider in the State of Kentucky to publicly endorse this code.

Who have you interpreted for in the past? back to top
From medical interpreting for the Norton Medical system of hospitals to legal interpreting for firms such as O'Bryan, Brown & Toner, In Every Language dispatched expert interpreters to businesses big and small for many different types of occasions.  We have provided special events interpreting for Maker's Mark and human resources interpreting for companies throughout the Commonwealth.  For interpreter scheduling, please email CEO Terena Bell.

Do you have an interpreter in my city? back to top Most likely.  While In Every Language does provide interpreters all around the world, we specialize in supplying the underserved markets of the United States, particularly in the South with qualified interpreters.  We're not afraid to drive out in the country and we don't have to fly in from New York.  In Every Language believes that businesses and individuals in rural areas and smaller towns have the same right to quality language services as those in bigger cities.  To learn what's available in your area, please contact CEO Terena Bell.

How far out do I need to schedule an interpreter? back to top
We prefer to know about an appointment two weeks ahead of time. In medical situations, however, we realize this is not possible and are able to send emergency medical interpreters out at the last minute.

Community Outreach

What's the In Every Language Free Translation Project? back to top
During the month of January, In Every Language offers Louisville-area refugees free, English translations of their educational documentation so they might find better employment.  Details are available about the project here.

How can I benefit from it? back to top
If you are a Louisville-area refugee with documents in this year's eligible language, you may receive three free, notarized, certified translations of your educational documents. Details are available about the project here.

How can I help with it? back to top
Volunteers may help with the In Every Language Free Translation Project in three ways.  1) Spread the word.  Tell your friends and neighbors about the project.  2) Help collect documents.  We need businesses in the community to serve as drop-off points.  3) If you are an experienced, professional translator who speaks English as a native language, you may volunteer your services.  To help in any way, contact CEO Terena Bell.

How else does In Every Language help the community? back to top
In Every Language works with area college students interested in entering the translation field and takes on college interns in order to
help prepare the translators and interpreters of the future.  In September, in honor of International Translators' Day, we also offer a "If You Can Read This, Thank a Translator" poetry reading in order to educate the Louisville community about the beauty of literature in translation.  In Every Language representatives also work closely with the Alliance Française to further cultural understanding in the Louisville area and our CEO Terena Bell, volunteers with the French African ministries of the United Methodist Church in Kentucky, Jefferson County 4-H, and other worthy organizations.

Miscellaneous/Other

Where can I take Spanish/French/etc lessons? back to top
Unfortunately, In Every Language does not offer language instruction.  If you are in the Louisville area, we encourage you to contact the Alliance Française or the University of Louisville.  If you are outside of Louisville, we encourage you to contact your closest university.
